Former Boston Bruins goalie Linus Ullmark has signed an extension with the Ottawa Senators.

According to Darren Dreger, the Ottawa Senators have signed former Boston Bruins star goalie Linus Ullmark to a four-year, $33 million ($8.25 million AAV) contract extension.
The Bruins traded Ullmark to the Senators during the 2024 NHL off-season in exchange for a 2024 first-round pick (Dean Letourneau), Mark Kastelic, and Joonas Korpisalo.
Ullmark's new extension comes just days after the Bruins signed fellow star goalie to his new contract. Interestingly, Ullmark will have the same AAV as Swayman's once his new deal starts next season.

This is huge news for the Senators, as they now have their star goalie locked up beyond this season. Goaltending trouble has been the main reason why the Senators have struggled over the last several seasons. However, they now have a star in Ullmark, and he should help them take that next step.
As for Ullmark, he has landed a significant raise, and it is well-deserved. His play with the Bruins was sensational, and it will be fascinating to see how he performs for the Sens from here.
