Boston's Cam Neely Could Be Next On The Hot Seat

Former Boston Bruins forward Anthony Richard has been placed on waivers by the Philadelphia Flyers

Richard, 28, signed a two-year contract with the Flyers this past summer after spending the 2023-24 season with the Boston Bruins.

Richard has played in 15 games this season with the Flyers, where he has two goals, six points, and a minus-3 rating. He has also spent a portion of this season with Philadelphia’s AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, where he has eight goals and 19 points in 18 games.

In nine games with Boston this past season, Richard had one goal and three points. Down in the AHL with the Providence Bruins, he had 25 goals and 55 points in 59 contests.

Teams looking for more forward depth could consider taking a flier on Richard. In 39 NHL games over five seasons split between the Nashville Predators, Montreal Canadiens, Bruins, and Flyers, he has six goals and 14 points.
