This former Bruins prospect is taking his talents overseas.

After spending each of the last four seasons in the AHL and playing for multiple teams, former Boston Bruins prospect Luke Toporowski is heading overseas.

The Augsburg Panthers of Germany's DEL have announced that they have signed Toporowski for the 2026-27 season.

Toporowski split this past season between the Hershey Bears and Colorado Eagles, where he posted eight goals, eight assists, 16 points, and 48 penalty minutes in 38 AHL games. This was after the former Bruins forward prospect recorded 13 goals, 15 assists, 28 points, and a plus-4 rating in 53 AHL games for the Iowa Wild during the 2024-25 season.

Toporowski played each of his first two AHL seasons with the Providence Bruins. In 47 games with Providence during his first AHL season in 2022-23, he recorded 15 goals, 14 assists, and 29 points in 47 games. He followed that up by posting seven goals and 17 points in 49 games with Providence during the 2023-24 season.

Toporowski was traded at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline with a 2026 conditional sixth-round pick to the Minnesota Wild in the deal that brought Pat Maroon to Boston. Maroon played in two regular-season games for the Bruins following the move, where he recorded zero points and 11 hits. He also had two assists in 13 playoff games for Boston during their playoff run that year.
