This former Boston Bruins forward has found a new home.
Former Boston Bruins forward Nick Ritchie has signed a one-year contract with HC Nove Zamky of the Slovak Extraliga.
Ritchie, 28, appeared in 10 games last season with Ounlan Karpat of the Finnish Liiga, posting one goal, five points, and 70 penalty minutes. He also played in eight games with the Iserlohn Roosters of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga, where he had one goal and one assist.
Ritchie last played in the NHL during the 2022-23 season, where he had 13 goals, 26 points, and 218 hits in 74 games split between the Calgary Flames and Arizona Coyotes.
Ritchie played in two seasons with the Bruins, posting 16 goals, 28 points, 125 hits, and 56 penalty minutes in 63 games.
