This big summer move is already benefitting the Boston Bruins greatly.

The Boston Bruins made a massive move this past summer when they signed Elias Lindholm to a seven-year, $54.25 million contract. With the club needing help at the center position and previously being linked to Lindholm, it was not particularly surprising to see him end up in Boston.

Now, in his first few games, Lindholm is already proving to be a great addition. In terms of offense, he has been quite impactful, posting two goals, five points, and a plus-3 rating in his first three games. In addition, besides getting on the scoresheet, his clever play with the puck has stood out immensely.

However, another significant reason the Bruins signed Lindholm was his outstanding defensive play. So far, he has lived up to expectations in that regard and has been a nice pickup for their penalty kill.

While we are in the very beginning stages of the Lindholm signing, it is already greatly benefitting the Bruins. He is well on his way to having a big bounce-back season, and it will be fun to see how he performs from here.
