This Boston Bruins newcomer dropped the gloves against a former Bruin.

Without much surprise, the bad blood between the Boston Bruins and Florida Panthers has translated over to this season. In the first period of their opening night matchup, the Bruins and Panthers were incredibly chippy.

One of the Bruins' top objectives of the summer was to build a roster that would be tougher to go up against. Because of this, one player they brought in was Mark Kastelic, and he showed off his feistiness in his debut. 

During the first period of the matchup, Kastelic dropped the gloves with former Bruins forward A.J. Greer. 

Seeing Kastelic and Greer drop the gloves is honestly not particularly surprising, as both players are known for their tenacious style of play. We should expect to plenty more fighting from Kastelic as the year rolls on.
