After completing a trade with the Montreal Canadiens on the second day of the draft, the Boston Bruins have made another deal with one of their division rivals.
The Bruins have traded the 108th overall pick of this year's entry draft to the Lightning in exchange for a 2026 fourth-round pick. The Lightning have since used the 108th pick that they acquired from Boston to select forward Benjamin Rautiainen.
With this move, the Bruins now have another draft pick to work with at the 2026 NHL Entry Draft. This is certainly far from a bad thing, as next year's draft is viewed as being a very deep one. It will be interesting to see what the Bruins end up doing with the fourth-round pick that they have acquired from the Bolts from here.
