The Boston Bruins have selected forward William Moore with the 51st overall pick of the 2025 NHL Entry Draft.

Moore appeared in 25 games this season with the U.S. National Development Team, where he recorded 10 goals, 21 points, and a plus-7 rating in 25 games. This was after he had 14 goals and 25 points in 35 games with the club in 2023-24.

Moore, 18, is a solid 6-foot-3 two-way center who has the potential to become a good NHL player later down the road. He has been praised for his offense, strong defensive play, and physicality, so he is undoubtedly a nice prospect for the Bruins to land with their 51st overall pick. This is especially so when noting that many predicted him getting selected earlier.

With the Bruins needing to improve at the center position, it makes sense that decided to select Moore with this pick. The young forward will also be playing at Boston College, so the Bruins will get to watch him often once he begins his collegiate career.
