The Bruins should have these three wingers on their radar if they hit the free-agent market this off-season.
One of the Boston Bruins' biggest goals this off-season should be to improve on the wing. There is no question that they need help in their top six.
This year's free-agent market is not the strongest, but it still has the potential to provide the Bruins with some solod options to consider. Due to this, let's look at four pending unrestricted free agent (UFA) wingers who the Bruins should target if they are available on July 1.
Alex Tuch, Buffalo Sabres
Alex Tuch is the top winger that the Bruins should consider making a push for in free agency. The Bruins experienced first hand how impactful Tuch is capable of being during their playoff series against the Buffalo Sabres. If the Bruins signed him, he would be an outstanding fit on their second-line right wing spot and power play.
In 79 games this season with the Sabres, Tuch had 33 goals, 33 assists, and 66 points.
Anthony Mantha, Pittsburgh Penguins
On a short-term deal, Anthony Mantha could be a solid player for the Bruins to take a chance on. While he had a tough post-season with the Pittsburgh Penguins, he was excellent during the regular-season this year. In 81 games this season with Pittsburgh, the 6-foot-5 forward recorded 33 goals, 31 assists, and 64 points. With numbers like these, Mantha would be a nice addition to Boston's top six.
Bobby McMann, Seattle Kraken
Bobby McMann is another notable pending UFA who could be a fantastic fit on the Bruins. The 29-year-old forward thrived this season, as he set new career highs with 29 goals, 17 assists, 46 points, and 165 hits in 78 games split between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Seattle Kraken. If the Bruins signed him, he would give them a new goal-scorer who also plays a heavy game. This would not be a bad thing at all for a Bruins club that is looking to take another step forward in 2026-27.
Mason Marchment, Columbus Blue Jackets
Mason Marchment is another winger who could be a good fit on the Bruins' roster. The 6-foot-5 winger is a power forward who contributes offensively and throws the body. This is evidenced by his 19 goals, 45 points, and 84 hits in 68 games this season split between the Kraken and Columbus Blue Jackets. Yet, he notably had 15 goals and 32 points in 39 games in a top-six role after being traded to Columbus.
