If the Bruins want to add a first-line winger this off-season, there are not too many better options than Stars forward Jason Robertson.

The Boston Bruins need to improve their roster if they hope to be a legitimate threat next season. One of their top needs is another star winger in their top six.

When looking at trade candidates around the league, Dallas Stars forward Jason Robertson stands out as a prime potential target for the Bruins to consider.

Robertson is entering the summer as a pending restricted free agent. The Stars are certainly going to work hard to re-sign him, but they also have limited cap space. Because of this, questions about Robertson's future in Dallas have naturally come up, and the Bruins would be wise to kick tires on him.

If the Bruins acquired Robertson from the Stars, he would give them another superstar winger alongside David Pastrnak. Robertson's stats from this season show this, as he had 45 goals, 51 assists, and 96 points in 82 games. He has also recorded at least 80 points in each of his four previous seasons. This includes 2022-23, when he had 46 goals and 109 points in 82 games for Dallas.

With the Bruins needing another star winger in their lineup in addition to Pastrnak, landing a player like Robertson would be huge for them. This is especially so when noting that Robertson is only 26 years old, so he has plenty of time left in his prime.
