The Bruins are reportedly bringing back one of their defensemen from last season's roster.

Jordan Harris was among the players who the Boston Bruins did not tender a qualifying offer last week. Because of this, Harris hit the market as an unrestricted free agent (UFA) on July 1.

While this is the case, it appears Harris is heading back to Boston.

According to 98.5 The Sport Hub's Ty Anderson, Harris is expected to stay put with the Bruins.

Harris appeared in just eight regular-season games this past season with the Bruins, where he recorded one goal, three points, and an even plus/minus rating. He also made one playoff appearance for Boston during their playoff series against the Buffalo Sabres.

With Harris expected to stay put with the Bruins, he will be looking to stay healthy in 2026-27. Depending on what moves the Bruins make this off-season, there is potential for him to compete for a spot on their bottom pairing. At a minimum, he should serve as a serviceable seventh defenseman.
