The Bruins made the right call trading for this forward.

The Boston Bruins made a big move this off-season when they traded two first-round picks to the Utah Mammoth for forward JJ Peterka.

So far, the Bruins' bold decision to trade for Peterka during this off-season is paying off nicely.

Peterka is making an immediate impact with the Bruins so far this season. In 12 games this campaign for the Original Six club, he has recorded four goals, five assists, nine points, and a plus-7 rating. He is also staying hot as the season rolls on, as he has two goals and four points in his last four games alone.

The Bruins brought in Peterka with the hope that he would provide them with more offense. He is certainly doing just that early on and is quickly emerging as a key part of their roster in the process.

Now, Peterka's goal will be to continue to make an impact for the Bruins as the season rolls on. If he does, it would be big news for a Bruins club that is looking to prove that they are the real deal in the Eastern Conference.
