The Boston Bruins have incredibly high hopes for top prospect James Hagens.

I mean, how could they not? The 2025 seventh-overall pick has a ton of offensive skill and potential. With this, there is a real chance that the Hauppauge, New York native will be a major part of the Bruins' roster in the future.

With Hagens having such high upside, the Original Six club should be looking to put him in a position to succeed next season. Because of this, the Bruins should strongly giving the 19-year-old forward a real chance on their second line with Pavel Zacha and Morgan Geekie next season.

The idea of Hagens playing on the same line as Zacha and Geekie is very interesting. With Hagens being a playmaker, he could thrive playing on the same line with two forwards who each scored at least 30 goals last season. 

While the Bruins could very well have Hagens start on their third line next season as he adjusts to the NHL, it could also benefit him to play top-six minutes. Hagens has the tools to blossom into one of the Bruins' top offensive contributors, so it would not hurt to let him have some reps on a line with two skilled forwards like Zacha and Geekie.
