Scoring goals has been a major issue for the Bruins this season. However, that certainly was not the case against the Canadiens. During the first period of the matchup, the Bruins scored three goals in a span of 70 seconds.
Charlie McAvoy got the scoring at the 11:45 mark of the first period, David Pastrnak scored 55 seconds later, and then Mark Kastelic scored just 15 seconds after Kastelic. This offensive explosion helped the Bruins get a strong hold of this matchup.
McAvoy & Coyle Shine, Several Other Bruins Get On The Board
Several Bruins got on the scoresheet against the Canadiens, as 10 players had at least one point on the night. McAvoy and Charlie Coyle were two big stars for the Bruins tonight, as they each had two goals. Cole Koepke also had a multi-point night, posting a goal and an assist.
