Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports - Bruins Make Lineup Change on Defense

After coming off consecutive losses and winning just once in their previous four games, the Boston Bruins are making a lineup change ahead of their game against the Seattle Kraken at home.

The Bruins now only hold a two point lead on the Florida Panthers in their division and conference as they try to bounce back for a win. Coming out of the lineup is defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk while Parker Wotherspoon enters back in.

Wotherspoon didn't play in the Bruins' previous loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning, but was on the back-end for the 3-0 defeat against the Washington Capitals. He has only played 22 of the team's 53 games this season and will likely be paired with Derek Forbort on the third pairing.

Wotherspoon is still relatively new to NHL action as he has only played 34 games in his career spanning over this season and last. The 26-year-old is very defensive-minded and will get time on the penalty kill. As Shattenkirk played fewer than 13:30 against the Lightning, it makes sense to get a fresh look in the lineup again.
