Could the Bruins consider moving these two players?

The Boston Bruins will be a team to keep an eye on this summer. After taking a step in the right direction this season, they should be looking to improve their roster this off-season.

Yet, it would also not be too surprising if the Bruins ended up trading a few of their players this summer. Because of this, let's take a look at two under-the-radar trade candidates for the Bruins heading into the off-season.

Casey Mittelstadt

Casey Mittelstadt had a decent season for the Bruins, posting 15 goals and 42 points in 71 games. Overall, he worked well on the Bruins' second line, but it would also be understandable if they looked to move him this summer.

The 27-year-old is entering the final season of his contract, and moving on from his $5.75 million cap hit would give the Bruins more wiggle room to make an upgrade elsewhere. With this, if the Bruins do not view him as a long-term part of their future, it would make sense if they moved him.

Mikey Eyssimont

The Bruins have a surplus of bottom-six forwards on their NHL roster. Due to this, Mikey Eyssimont could be a trade candidate to watch this summer. The 29-year-old forward struggled to stay in the Bruins' lineup and was scratched multiple times during the season.

In 56 games this campaign for Boston, Eyssimont had eight goals, 18 points, and 54 hits. Overall, he was serviceable when called upon, but he simply may not be a fit on the Bruins' roster at this point. It would be understandable if they made him available this summer.
