Now, one year later, Swayman decided not to elect for salary arbitration this time around. This is notable, as it may be an indicator that Swayman believes a deal between him and the Bruins is not too far away. It is important to note, however, that the Bruins can still file for arbitration with their star netminder. They have until Saturday at 5 p.m. ET to make that decision. Swayman appeared in 44 regular-season games last season, posting a 25-10-8 record, a .916 SV%, and a 2.53 GAA.
