During the matchup, Trent Frederic received an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty after dropping the gloves to prepare to fight Florida Panthers Matthew Tkachuk. Tkachuk, on the other hand, did not do the same, so Frederic received a penalty. Following the game, Frederic blasted Tkachuk for not dropping the gloves because the Panthers star initiated it. Here is what Frederic said on the matter: "He actually asked me (to fight), and then he didn’t. I didn’t know people did that. I think that’s a little disrespectful to the game." Don't be surprised if Frederic tries to get Tkachuk to answer the bell when the Bruins face off against the Panthers next on Oct. 14.
