It was reported on Friday (Nov. 6) that the Rangers were either going to trade Trouba or place him on waivers if he used his 15-team no-trade list to block a deal. However, he has now been dealt to the Ducks, and Vaakanainen is heading to New York because of it. Vaakanainen, 25, has appeared in five games this season, where he has one assist and seven blocks. This is after he set new career highs with one goal, 13 assists, and 14 points last season with Anaheim.
