However, it is also understandable that Gasseau wants to explore his other options. The Bruins have a surplus of NHL-caliber forwards, so he would have had a lot of competition to try to land a spot on Boston's roster. Gasseau appeared in 23 games during this season with Boston College, where he had six goals, 17 assists, and 23 points. With Gasseau coming off a strong campaign and being a 6-foot-4 center, he should generate a ton of interest in free agency. It's a shame he won't be in Boston.
