This Sabres forward is starting to get things back on track.
Buffalo Sabres forward Jack Quinn has had a very rough start to the 2024-25 season. In 29 games, he has five goals, six assists, and a minus-12 rating. He has also been scratched multiple times by head coach Lindy Ruff.
While Quinn's start to the season has been less than ideal, he is undoubtedly heating up significantly. Over his last five games, the 2020 first-round pick has four goals and six points. This includes back-to-back two-point games in his last appearances.
It is incredibly encouraging for the Sabres to see Quinn starting to regain his scoring touch. The 23-year-old winger is expected to be one of their top forwards, and he is now starting to trend in the right direction again.
Quinn showed this past season that he can be a difference-maker, as he had nine goals and 19 points in 27 games. This was after he set career highs with 14 goals, 23 assists, and 37 points in 75 games during the 2022-23 season.
It will now be interesting to see how Quinn builds on his hot streak. If he continues to produce like this, it would be significant for both him and the Sabres.
