The Buffalo Sabres need this forward to get things back on track.

The Buffalo Sabres are starting to get things back on track. After starting the season with a 1-4-1 record, the Sabres have defeated the Dallas Stars and Chicago Blackhawks. This is a notable step in the right direction for a Sabres club looking to break their 13-year playoff drought.
However, things could still be better for the Sabres, as some of their top players are struggling early on. One of them is winger Jack Quinn.
Quinn, 23, currently has just one assist to go along with a minus-4 rating in his first seven games this campaign. His struggles also led to him being scratched when the Sabres matched up against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Oct. 17.

While Quinn's start to the season has been less than ideal, he still has a lot of time left to turn things back around. There is no question that he has the potential to. Last season, he showed signs of taking a big step forward, posting nine goals and 19 points in 27 games. If he can get back to that form, it would be massive for the Sabres.
It will now be fascinating to see how Quinn responds to his slow start. The 2020 eighth-overall pick has what it takes to have a big breakout year, but he will first need to bounce back for that to have any chance of coming to fruition.
