It is officially wedding season, and multiple players around the NHL have gotten married this summer because of it. Buffalo Sabres defenseman Henri Jokiharju followed that trend, recently marrying his fiance, Henrietta.
Last May, the happy couple got engaged, and they took advantage of Jokiharju's time off from the ice to officially tie the knot.
Jokiharju shared an awesome friendship moment with Sabres goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen on his big day. While celebrating the wedding on the dance floor, Luukkonen put Jokiharju on his shoulders.
Jokiharju and Luukkonen have naturally grown a friendship over the years, as the Finns have both been with the Sabres organization since Jokiharju was traded to Buffalo before the 2019-20 season.
Nevertheless, this was such a cool moment between the two teammates.
