Buffalo Sabres head coach Lindy Ruff confirmed to reporters, including the Buffalo News' Mike Harrington, that captain Rasmus Dahlin will play on Friday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Dahlin, 24, has been sidelined for each of the last seven games due to back spasms, and the Sabres have missed him immensely.
With the Sabres currently on a disastrous 11-game losing streak, it is huge that Dahlin is returning to the lineup. He will now look to help the Atlantic Division club get things back on track.

In 25 games this season with the Sabres, Dahlin has six goals, 19 points, 26 hits, and a plus-4 rating.
