This Sabres prospect is heading back to the AHL.

The Buffalo Sabres have announced that forward Isak Rosen has been re-assigned to their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Rochester Americans.

Rosen, 21, appeared in one game during his latest call-up to the Sabres' roster, where he had zero shots in 6:29 of ice time. Now, he will look to make a significant impact back with the Amerks from here.

Rosen has had an excellent start to the season with Rochester. In 14 games with the AHL squad, he has four goals to go along with 13 points. It will be interesting to see if the 2021 first-round pick can keep this play up down in the AHL from here.
