    Etienne Morin

While doing a radio spot for Fan 960, Pascall revealed the team’s plan for Etienne Morin. He said that he would play with the Calgary Wranglers of the AHL.

Morin had a stellar season for the Moncton Wildcats. In 62 QMJHL games, he recorded 14 goals, 44 assists, and 58 points. He was third in scoring among all defenders in the QMJHL.

    Andrew Basha & Matvei Gridin

Also, during the conversation, Pascall said that the team would have conversations with Andrew Basha and Matvei Gridin. The conversations have been about those two playing for the Wranglers as well.

Basha played just 23 games for the 2024-25 season. He recorded 29 points, 20 of which were assists.

Similarly to Morin, Gridin played in the QMJHL. In 56 games, he recorded 36 goals and 79 points. He was drafted in the first round of last year’s draft.

It will be interesting to see if the Flames add any new prospects to their system outside of the draft before the beginning of next season.
