Devin Cooley is heading into the 2026-27 season with a fresh look between the pipes.
The Calgary Flames goaltender has unveiled a new set of pads featuring a crisp white base with eye-catching red flames stretching across the bottom. The matching blocker and pads give Cooley a sharp new look as he gets set for his second season in Calgary.
The Flames recently offered fans a preview of the new gear on social media, although one piece of the puzzle remains missing: Cooley’s mask.
That design will complete the new look and, based on the early preview, it should be worth the wait.
Cooley enters the season coming off a breakout campaign after establishing himself as Dustin Wolf’s backup. The 29-year-old finished 2025-26 with a 10-10-6 record, a 2.69 goals-against average and a .909 save percentage.
The performance helped earn Cooley a two-year, $2.7 million contract extension on Dec. 30, 2025.
Now, with a new set of pads and another season ahead, Cooley will look to build on his first full campaign with the Flames.
