The Carolina Hurricanes continue their road trip with Thursday's stop being in Edmonton to take on the Oilers.
Carolina is coming off a 6-3 win over the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday, getting back into the win column after they saw their seven-game winning streak snapped the game before.
The Hurricanes also look to be due some good news as Seth Jarvis was activated off of the injured non-roster list on Wednesday, seemingly signaling that he could be good to go tonight.
Skyler Brind'Amour was also recalled on Wednesday, with Bradly Nadeau being reassigned to the Chicago Wolves, and so he could be an option to make his season debut as well.
Edmonton is coming in off of a two-game winning streak, most recently defeating the Minnesota Wild 4-3 in overtime on Tuesday.
Connor McDavid has taken his game to another level, with 26 points so far on the season in just nine games, so it's going to be a Herculean task to slow him down, especially with the team missing two of their top defensive centerman.
