What - Game 56 (33-17-5)
When - 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 22
Where - PNC Arena; Raleigh, NC
How to Watch - Bally Sports South
The Carolina Hurricanes will try to stop the Florida Panthers (37-15-4) tonight as the Cats try to make history at PNC Arena.
Florida, who has won its last 11 road games, enters tonight's contest one win shy of tying the NHL record for consecutive road wins (2006 - Detroit Red Wings, 2015 - Minnesota Wild).
The Panthers look to be one of the deepest teams in the league with a high-powered offense, a big and solid defensive group and some really strong goaltending.
It's hard to find a weakness in the NHL's top team (by point percentage).
Carolina will look to defend its home rink and its three-game winning streak.
The Canes are 8-2-0 in their last 10 and have been playing some of their best hockey of the season as of late.
The Hurricanes will need the team fully locked in tonight if they want to best the Panthers.
