Seth Jarvis Reaches New Career High

Carolina Hurricanes forward Seth Jarvis set a new career high in points Tuesday night in a 4-2 loss to the Dallas Stars.

Jarvis assisted on Jordan Staal's goal in the second period to earn his 41st point of the season in game 52, passing his rookie season total of 40 which he set in 68 games.

The assist was also Jarvis' 25th of the year, tying his career high set in 2022-23 and he now sits one goal short of his career high of 17 set during his rookie season.

The tenacious winger has blossomed into a complete player for the Canes, playing a 200-foot game and in all situations.

He's on both the first penalty killing and first power play units and is second among forwards in total ice time (18:56).

Jarvis has primarily split time on lines with Sebastian Aho or Jordan Staal, but he's produced no matter where in the lineup he's been.

It's also safe to assume that he's only scratching the surface due to the amount of breakaways and odd-man rushes he's failed to convert on from earlier in the year.

With 30 games remaining on the season, it's safe to assume that Jarvis will continue to build on his breakout season and set some pretty substantial career highs.

The winger is currently on pace for 65 points and 25 goals.
