What - Game 2 (0-1-0)
When - 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 14
Where - Lenovo Center; Raleigh, NC
How to Watch - Bally Sports South, MSGSN
The Carolina Hurricanes will be playing just their second game of the season tonight as they host the New Jersey Devils who are playing in game number six.
The Canes were supposed to have played at least two by now, but the Oct. 12 game in Tampa Bay was postponed due to the impacts of Hurricane Milton.
There's also the fact that New Jersey played the first two games of the year in Czechia as part of the NHL Global Series which kicks off the new season.
The Hurricanes unfortunately are a team still looking to figure out their game after a disheartening 4-1 season opening loss to the Lightning, so the time off has really not been helpful while the Devils have really found an early groove.
Regardless, the Canes can at least hope that they've gotten the early bug out of their systems and that New Jersey will at least be a little bit sluggish being on the tail end of a back-to-back.
