The 2 p.m. waiver wire has passed and all three of the players the Carolina Hurricanes placed on waivers yesterday have cleared.

That means Antti Raanta, Tony DeAngelo and Brendan Lemieux will all remain with the organization for the time being.

If the three are reassigned to the minors, the Canes can free up $3.1 million in cap space as well as three roster spots.

***UPDATE*** Antti Raanta has been reassigned to the Chicago Wolves of the AHL. This move will open up a roster spot and $1.15 million of cap space.

All three will still be able to provide the Hurricanes with depth, which is valuable in the playoffs.
