After the game, head coach Rod Brind'Amour and forward Sebastian Aho spoke to the media.

Here's what they had to say:

    Sebastian Aho

"Obviously a tough loss again. We just have to find a way to win these tight ones. Everyone battled out there, the effort was there, but at the same time it doesn't matter what the effort was if we score zero goals and don't win. Just got to get better in many ways. Good thing we go home now and hopefully we'll play well in front of our fans."

"Every game we have enough chances to win a hockey game, right? I'm not too worried about creating opportunities. It's a matter of putting the puck in the net and obviously in tight spots. We had a power play with six or seven minutes to go in the third. Those ones are big. We had a couple of good looks, but if we scored there, it's a whole 'nother story. Just have to be better."

    Rod Brind'Amour

"They were blocking a lot of shots and did a nice job of protecting the front of their net, which is what they try to do. And when they didn't, their goalie made a few nice saves to keep us chasing the game. They made a couple of nice plays on the goals and then they hunkered down. I thought that we played a fairly decent game tonight. It was pretty consistent and hard, we just weren't able to get that one."

"Their first one was a good play. A little high tip and then it was in the net and then we didn't connect on our couple of chances. Power play could have been a little sharper, but that was the difference in the game."

"He was good. Kept us in there. Can't fault him on any of them and certainly gave us a chance tonight."

"We all know that we're certainly not playing up to our abilities. We've gotta find that team game and that's what we've done so well of over the years and I don't think we have to reinvent it, it's not really that, but it's finding it because it sure hasn't been there this year."
