Carolina Hurricanes 2024-25 Schedule Revealed

The Carolina Hurricanes' 2024-25 regular season schedule is here as the NHL released all 32 schedules at noon today.

As a reminder, the Canes' preseason schedule was already released last month with the following dates:

  • @ Tampa Bay Lightning - 7pm, Tuesday, September 24
  • vs. Florida Panthers - 7pm, Friday, September 27
  • @ Florida Panthers - 7pm, Saturday, September 28
  • vs. Nashville Predators - 7pm, Wednesday, October 2
  • vs. Tampa Bay Lightning - 7pm, Friday, October 4
  • @ Nashville Predators - 5pm, Saturday, October 5

But now we know when the games that actually matter are.

Let's take a look at some of the key dates:

Home/Season Opener

  • Oct. 11 vs. Tampa Bay Lightning

The Carolina Hurricanes will welcome back in Jake Guentzel and the Steven Stamkos-less Bolts to kick off their season.

Longest Home Stand

  • Jan. 4 - Jan. 12 (5 games)

The Hurricanes have a few four-game home stands but the longest will come at the start of the new year.

Longest Road Trip

  • Oct. 18 - Oct. 28 (6 games)

The Canes will have their annual long road trip right at the start of the season due to the NC State Fair in October.

Carolina will take on Pittsburgh and St. Louis before heading all the way to Western Canada for matchups against Edmonton, Calgary and then back to America for a showdown with Seattle and then back across the border to take on Vancouver.

  • Oct. 15 vs. New Jersey

Brett Pesce and Stefan Noesen's first games back

  • Jan. 30 vs. Chicago Blackhawks

Teuvo Teravainen's first game back

  • March 25 vs. Nashville Predators
