What - Preseason Game 5
When - 8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 5

How to Watch - The game will be livestreamed on the team's website.
The Carolina Hurricanes will be back in action for their penultimate preseason game as they travel west to take on the Nashville Predators.
The Canes will be icing nearly a full PTO/prospect roster as it will be the last chance for many of those players to showcase themselves.
Following the game, we can expect to see a large amount of roster cuts and reassignments as the main group focuses in on the start of the season.
It's been a good camp for a handful of guys on the PTO/prospect list, but with Carolina boasting such a deep and talented main roster, the odds aren't very likely that we see any of them earn a spot.
The Hurricanes will be back home at PNC Arena on Friday, Oct. 6 for their final preseason game and we can expect to potentially see what the opening night roster may look like.
