Sebastian Aho Named 2024 All-Star
Carolina Hurricanes netminder Pyotr Kochetkov left Thursday night's game against the Anaheim Ducks in the second period.
At 7:55 of the second period, Kochetkov made a save on Isac Lundestrom, but the Ducks forward was bumped on top of the Russian netminder by Hurricanes d-man Dmitry Orlov.
It appears to be a head injury for Kochetkov.
Kochetkov exited the game after allowing three goals on 13 shots and Antti Raanta came in to finish.
Kochetkov had been playing unreal for the Canes as of late and had really helped to elevate the team to another level out of the holiday break.
If Kochetkov is out for an extended amount of time, it would be a huge blow to Carolina.
