The Carolina Hurricanes have announced that they have made qualifying offers to five of their restricted free agents.

    Those players are:

    Skyler Brind'Amour (C) - $814,000
    Noel Gunler (RW) - $814,000
    Domenick Fensore (D) - $874,000
    Ryan Suzuki (C) - $814,000
    Ronan Seeley (D) - $814,000

Unless arbitration eligible (Brind'Amour, Fensore and Suzuki) those contracts will bind the players to the team for the 2025-26 season.

Those with arbitration rights can choose to have an independent third-party arbitrator determine fair value for themselves on a one or two year contract if they're unhappy with their QO, but most don't get to that point.

The Canes also had three RFAs who did not receive a qualifying offer, meaning that they will in turn become unrestricted free agents on July 1.

    Those players are:

    Ty Smith (D)
    Yaniv Perets (G)
    Anttoni Honka (D)
