The Carolina Hurricanes will look to get their revenge on the Philadelphia Flyers (11-9-1) tonight as they meet for the third time this season.
In the last meeting between the two teams, the Hurricanes fell 3-1 at PNC Arena due to some costly defensive breakdowns, so the Canes will look to tighten it up this time around.
Carolina is coming off of a thrilling, three-goal third period comeback over the Columbus Blue Jackets Sunday evening.
Andrei Svechnikov scored his first of the season with under two minutes to go in regulation to steal the win for the Canes.
The Flyers have had some time off since shutting out the New York Islanders Saturday night in a 1-0 shootout victory. Goaltender Sam Ersson made 25 saves for the shutout while rookie forward Tyson Foerster scored the lone shootout goal to win it.
The Flyers have also seen some reinforcements return on the backend with both Marc Staal and Rasmus Ristolainen returning from injury.
