The Carolina Hurricanes have been one of the healthier teams this postseason and that's a big reason why they're in the Eastern Conference Final and one of the final four teams remaining.

However, they now have a few question marks on the roster coming out of their series against the Washington Capitals.

But we've at least gotten a few answers following Monday's practice.

Jordan Martinook did not practice with the team today after leaving early on Sunday, but he was made available to the media where he state he would be good to go tomorrow.

Hurricanes coach Rod Brind'Amour had stated Sunday that the veteran forward just wasn't feeling 100% when he left practice and so it seems like it's nothing major for Martinook.

Dmitry Orlov entirely missed practice on Sunday, but was out there today and looked no worse for wear, so it was more than likely just a rest day for the veteran.

On the other hand, defenseman Jalen Chatfield was absent from practice one again.

Chatfield has been dealing with a potential lower-body injury that seemed to have flared up in Game 4 in their series against Washington.

He missed Game 5 of that series with Alexander Nikishin making his NHL debut in Chatfield's place and now it seems like he's questionable for the start of the Eastern Conference Series against the Florida Panthers.

"That one has been the one I've been concerned about the most," Brind'Amour said. "So we'll see tomorrow, obviously, where he's at, but that's obviously a big piece if he can't go."

Brind'Amour also stated that Chatfield would probably need to practice before he goes back in the lineup. The team is scheduled to skate Tuesday morning before Game 1, so we'll just have to wait and see.
