The Carolina Hurricanes have selected Russian defender Alexander Siryatsky with the 124th overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft.
Siryatsky, 17, is a 6-foot-2 mobile defenseman, but at just 159-pounds, he'll need to do a lot of bulking up.
The lefthanded blueliner had five goals and 19 points in 36 MHL games with Magnitogorsk and is regarded as a stable defender.
