The Carolina Hurricanes have selected Russian defenseman Timur Kol with the 168th selection in the 2024 NHL Draft.
Kol, 17, is a 6-foot-4, 200-pound blueliner with a big shot.
The lefthanded defender plays a simple game and mostly split time between both the MHL and VHL this season.
