Carolina Hurricanes centers Sebastian Aho and Jesperi Kotkaniemi will each be reaching a milestone tonight when the puck drops.

Aho, 27, will be playing in his 600th career game, all having come with Carolina.

The Finnish center was draft by the Canes in the second round of the 2015 draft and he currently ranks third in goals (254) and fourth in points (557) among the class.

Aho has become the face of the Hurricanes franchise and is entering the first year of a new eight-year, $78 million deal.

He ranks third in franchise history for goals and points and last year became the all-time leader in shorthanded goals (17).

Kotkaniemi, 24, will be playing in his 400th career game with 171 having come with the Montreal Canadiens and 229 having come with Carolina.

The Finnish center was selected third overall in the 2018 draft and ranks sixth in goals (64) and ninth in points (161) among the class.

Kotkaniemi is hoping to solidify himself as the second line center for the Canes.
