The accolades continue to fly in for Carolina Hurricanes prospect Jackson Blake.
After receiving a top-10 nomination for the Hobey Baker Award, the University of North Dakota sophomore was named the NCHC Player and Forward of the Year.
Blake, 20, led the NCHC in scoring with 21 goals and 57 points in 38 games and he currently sits in second in scoring for the whole NCAA.
The forward also broke the NCHC record for conference points with 37 in 24 games.
Blake is the second in program history to be named as NCHC Player of the Year (Shane Pinto - 2020-21). In terms of overall conference player of the year honors throughout program history, Blake is the 10th.
Selected in the fourth round of the 2021 draft, Blake has seen his development skyrocket since joining the Fighting Hawks and he's quickly become one of Carolina's top prospects.
