The Carolina Hurricanes announced Sunday that they have extended qualifying offers to multiple RFAs: Seth Jarvis, Martin Necas, Jack Drury and Dylan Coghlan.
June 30 was the deadline to extend qualifying offers and while a player doesn't have to accept the QO, the extension allows Carolina to retain RFA rights.
Any player who does not receive a QO becomes a UFA.
That means that Max Comtois, Griffin Mendel, Blake Murray and Tuukka Tieksola are now UFAs and free to sign anywhere else.
