The Canes are scheduled to play tonight in Vancouver.
The Carolina Hurricanes have announced this morning that they have recalled Spencer Martin from the Chicago Wolves of the AHL.
Martin, 29, has played in three games with the Wolves this season and has a 1-1-1 record and a 0.920 save percentage.
The Canes are scheduled to face the Vancouver Canucks today so it begs the question: is one of the Hurricanes' goalies unavailable for tonight's game?
Frederik Andersen played the full game on Saturday, stopping 18 of 19 against the Seattle Kraken, and Pyotr Kochetkov last played against the Calgary Flames on Thursday.
Kochetkov, 25, was the next goalie up in the rotation and he was the presumed starter for tonight with Andersen, 35, expected to back him up.
The Canes are practicing later today so we'll see then what is up with all of this.
