The Carolina Hurricanes will be without forward Jesper Fast for yet another game it seems like as the Swedish forward was absent from the Canes' practice on Wednesday.

Since sustaining a neck strain from crash into the end boards in Carolina's regular season finale against the Columbus Blue Jackets, Fast has been sidelined and unable to join the team.

According to head coach Rod Brind'Amour, until Fast practices with the team, he will not be a game-time decision.

So this means that without Fast at practice, he will continue to be out of the lineup.

After practice, Brind'Amour also stated that while Fast may travel with the team to New York for Game 3 and Game 4, he "more than likely will not."
