The Carolina Hurricanes head coach spoke on Frederik Andersen, Shayne Gostisbehere and William Carrier.

The past month or so hasn't been kind to the Carolina Hurricanes.

Not only has the team struggled with consistency, but they've also had quite a few injuries pop up.

Currently, the team is dealing with injuries to three starters and Rod Brind'Amour provided a brief update on the statuses of each player after Wednesday's practice.

On Frederik Andersen: "It was nice to see him practicing. We're not sure how long it's going to take, but it's a good day one for him."

Andersen, 35, has been out since Oct. 26 and had knee surgery on Nov. 22.

He practiced with the team for the first time since then on Wednesday.

On Shayne Gostisbehere: "I can't really give you a timeline because he's just starting to get going. Until he starts practicing with us, not really sure where he is."

Gostisbehere, 31, has been out since Dec. 28 due to an upper-body injury.

The team's top scoring defenseman was seen practicing solo with assistant coach Tim Gleason before the team's practice on Wednesday.

On William Carrier: "I think that's gonna be a little longer. We're waiting still to kind of see the options on everything. I'm hopeful it's not going to take longer but we're still not sure."

Carrier, 30, has been out since Jan. 5 due to a lower-body injury.

The team's leading hitter hasn't been on the ice since.
