The NHL today announced the first six players from each country that will be represented at the 4 Nations Face-Off in February.

The Finnish Ice Hockey Association made the selections for Team Finland and Carolina Hurricanes center Sebastian Aho was one of first six players selected along with Aleksander Barkov, Mikko Rantanen, Esa Lindell, Miro Heiskanen and Juuse Saros.

The tournament will feature teams from the US, Canada, Finland and Sweden and they'll play from Feb. 12-20 in Montreal and Boston.

All four teams will play in a round-robin and then the two teams with the best overall records will faceoff for the championship.

Aho, 26, is coming off of a career year in which he registered 36 goals and 89 points in the regular season and four goals and 12 points in 11 postseason games.

In terms of international representation, the Finnish forward has represented Suomi at the IIHF World Junior Championships, IIHF World Championships, World Cup of Hockey and will now have the chance to once again do it at the 4 Nation Face-Off and more than likely the Olympics later down the road too.
