The Canes have one already confirmed player, but who else could be playing for their country in February.

The final rosters for the NHL's Four Nation Face-Off Tournament were submitted on Monday and will be announced later in the day on Wednesday.

The tournament, which will feature NHL players from the USA, Canada, Finland and Sweden will take place in February.

The Carolina Hurricanes already have one player that will be representing the team as Sebastian Aho was named as one of the first six players representing Team Finland, but who else on the Hurricanes could potentially be an option?

    Jaccob Slavin - Team USA

There is not a better defensive defensemen in the NHL than Jaccob Slavin.

The 30-year-old blueliner has been the cornerstone of Carolina's defense for years now and his game has shown little sign of slowing down.

He's quick, smart and can even be physical when he needs to be.

The veteran has a goal and eight points in 24 games this season, and while his defensive game makes him special, he's the kind of player that can do it all with multiple 30+ point seasons under his belt.

He should be a shoo-in for Team USA and can potentially be a key player given his track record of shutting down elite talent.

"I don't want to say we take him for granted, but it's just that you expect greatness every night and that's basically what you watch," Hurricanes coach Rod Brind'Amour said last week about his number one defenseman. "You're going, 'That was a great play. That was a great play.' He stacks them one after the other and you just expect it and when he doesn't make one it's kind of shocking, right? He's just a tremendous player."

    Jesperi Kotkaniemi - Team Finland

Last season was a tough year for Jesperi Kotkaniemi, but he's had a pretty good start to the season this year.

Kotkaniemi has shown he can play next to a burgeoning superstar in Martin Necas and with a star studded cast at the top of the Team Finland lineup, perhaps that can give him an edge.

Kotkaniemi has three goals and 13 points in 24 games this season and he also has the versatility to play center or wing and his size also allows him to play up or down the lineup.

There's a lot of good Finnish players in the league right now, but I think Kotkaniemi can make a pretty good case to at least be the 13th forward for the Finns.

    Seth Jarvis - Team Canada

If the rumors are to be believed, Seth Jarvis has indeed made Team Canada's roster and that really shouldn't come as a surprise.

The 22-year-old is emerging as a star in this league and he's a player who can play in any situation and on any type of line.

Jarvis, who has seven goals and 16 points in 17 games this season, can play on the power play or the penalty kill. He can play off the rush or grind away, cycling low in the zone. He forechecks, he backchecks, he hits. You name it he does it.

There aren't many complete players like him and he's elevating his game night in and night out to be a real game breaker.
