What - Game 31 (16-12-2)
When - 7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 19
Where - PNC Arena; Raleigh, NC
How to Watch - Bally Sports South
The Carolina Hurricanes will host the current champs and the NHL's top team, Vegas Golden Knights (21-6-5), tonight at PNC Arena.
The Canes are coming off of two straight post-regulation losses, a 6-5 OT loss to the Nashville Predators on Friday and a 2-1 shootout loss to the Washington Capitals on Sunday.
The Hurricanes may be in line for reinforcements though as forward Andrei Svechnikov, who's missed the last six games with an upper-body injury, is possible to be a game-time decision for tonight's game.
He was skating on a regular line as well as working with PP1 at Monday's practice and he told THN Carolina that he expects to be a game-time decision based on how he felt this morning.
As the Hurricanes are not holding a morning skate, we will have to wait and see what happens.
The Golden Knights won their last game, a 6-3 win over the Ottawa Senators on Sunday and are winners of five of their last six.
The Knights have the NHL's top record and have been very solid defensively and in goal.
They'll certainly be a tough team to beat.
